Finally, a trailer that makes sense, builds anticipation, and looks fantastic.
And it was cut by a fan over at the John Carter Files. I really wish this was the way it was first presented, but what's done is done.

P.S. Let's just nip the negative attitude with hyperbolic press in the bud while we're at it too. I suppose this is the most press the film has garnered to date though. Can't we be excited about something momentous, just once?

I agree. It seems like some people are eager for this to fail, sight unseen.
ReplyDeleteToo many people hung up on their own ages old mental vision of the book, a generation of Boris Vallejo art and countless other interpretations.
ReplyDeleteThese were the same forces working against the Star Wars prequels too, though in that case the final product bore that prejudice out.
I will see it and I will enjoy it. Pixar produces amazingly entertaining films with a lot of heart. We may even see the dawn of a new product angle here. Animation studios, who truly understand animation, moving into more photorealistic films.
