Then this one time, Batman and Space Ghost teamed up...

I'm seriously going to miss this show.

Props to ToplessRobot.com And yes, I'm shamelessly ripping of the headline too. Awesome things must always be paid forward.

  1. It was a breath of fresh air (or stale air that seems fresh compared to the modern stale air).

  2. When B:BB first came on I dismissed it as silly. After watching it for a while with the kidlets I've grown to really like it. I, too, will miss it.

  3. I read a comment somewhere saying that they sort of found the sweet spot between the campy 60s show and his Dark Knighty-ness, which I think is spot on.

  4. I think it was 20 seconds into the very first episode when Batman pulled a bat-lightsaber out of his utility belt, and went to town. That gave me an inkling to the tone of the show...

...but over the course of the first 3 episodes, The Dark Knight went to outer space, Gorilla City, and Atlantis, with Gotham nowhere to be found. I knew then that it was gonna be something special.

(And as a lifelong DC fan, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the D-Listers: The Ten-Eyed Man, Tiger Shark, Killer Moth, etc. This show has worked wonders with proving they're viable characters.)
